What we do

Complex Needs Service

Complex Needs Workers offer 1-2-1 intensive support

Our committed Complex Needs Workers work directly with women and girls with multiple and complex needs. They provide one to one intensive support and take a holistic approach to meet the woman or girls needs.

In order to access the Complex Needs Service you need to be accessing one of our partner services. This service can then refer you into the Women’s Lives Leeds Complex Needs Service if appropriate.

Community Development Service

Our dedicated Community Development Workers cover all areas of Leeds and are available to attend

Community Development Workers can signpost to other services and support available

events, give presentations, facilitate drop-in sessions and deliver awareness and outreach sessions to organisations around a variety of topics for women and girls.

The team can provide information about Women’s Lives Leeds as well as signposting to other services in the city that may suit your and your community’s needs.

Anyone can take advantage of our unique Community Development Service. If you would like our workers to run session, provide drop-ins or attend events to raise awareness, or if you would just like to meet them to find out more about what they can offer you can get in touch via our Contact page or send us an email to WLL@leedswomensaid.org.uk.

Virtual Women’s Centre…Coming Soon!

The Online Virtual Women’s Centre will be launching Autumn 2017

This will be a single point of information for all you need to know about services and support available to women and girls in Leeds. This online one-stop shop will be available to everyone and fill the gap where there is currently no such provision for Leeds.

We are currently working with women and girls across Leeds to design and develop the new website, which will include the Virtual Women’s Centre. Ensuring women and girls voices are heard and included in everything we do, is at the heart of this project.

We have opportunities to get involved taking place throughout April, if you are interested in gaining experience in website design and development, or just want to have your say, then get involved! Consultations are open to all women and girls, are free of charge, and refreshments will be provided! Join us and book your place by clicking here!

The Virtual Women’s Centre will be launching in Autumn 2017.

Online Peer Support Forum…Coming Soon!

Empowering women and girls to support each other is at the heart of what we do

Our aim is to empower women and girls to have their voices heard and make their own decisions.

Peer support plays a huge part in this. We will be developing an online peer support forum, on our new website, which will be available to women and girls to offer you a platform for supporting and empowering each other.

We have A5 leaflets available for anyone who would like to promote the service. You can download PDFs of the leaflets below, alternatively you can get in touch to order some hard copies.
